FOUNTAIN SOCCER TOURNAMENT

Fountain Soccer Tournament is annual event which brings together more than 300 young people from Githurai & environs to share & exchange  ideas and participate in decision making of their community. This year it will be held at Githurai Kimbo Primary School grounds on May 19, 2012 as from 9: 00 Am.

You are all invited to come and support the local youths as they prepare to make crucial decisions regarding their community.

Fountain Youth Initiative in line with it’s strategic plan is in the process of developing various projects to ensure more vulnerable young people are Nurtured, Empowered and Transformed thus the organization is fundraising using the following online platforms

Fountain Youth Initiative will  receive 20 000 reading books from BOOKS 4 CAUSE to establish community library hence we call upon friends and donor organizations to support with the purchase of books with Kenyan syllabus.

GITHURAI CLEAN UP

Fountain Youth Group in partnership with AIESEC – Kenyatta University interns organized  Githurai Clean Up which  was on August 27, 2011. The event was successful because more than 300 local residents, local leaders and local business organizations and Mercy corps participated. Garbage in Githurai was collected hence making the community better place to reside. It was declared community annual event to facilitate management of environment. Thanks for all that supported Githurai Clean Up event.
